Home now with a lightened credit card and tan. It was an awesome break and thanks for all the help.
So who was it in a black 360 yesterday driving the strip at about mid day?
It sounded awesome who ever it was!

That'll be you for sure then, because I only saw it as you were passing Starbucks and I was standing on the beach and stretched over to see what was making the noise.
I was on Island time so took a guess at mid day.
    That car sounds totally awesome.

I would have done the strip if the guy renting the huge V8 Vette with mods didn't want a holding deposit of a grand, that was held for almost 2 weeks before it was released.

Dodgy back yard car rentals inc.

    We loved the Jeep though!

Haha Kevin! I'll give you heads up next time ;)
Graham, the Jeep is one of the best vehicles to travel the island and not be deterred by rough roads !

That's more like our typical roads. You either have a truck/suv to drive through our version of Fallujah, or practice your slalom skills to dodge the potholes.

haha, you don't really want to see holiday snaps! But the one with the hottie in is my other half at Pearl harbour. The other is a place that I recommend you DON"T eat! It was a cheese burger, with deep fried burger bun, and cheese, also deep fried. My heart nearly needed a restart! I can't believe people can actually eat that ****! I had a bite and thought better of it. Karen on the other hand said she's on holiday hahaha. She ate it all. Pig.

The Tanaka Japanese restaurant was very good though, as was the Cheese cake factory, Hard rock, that cool Italian place in the plaza on the LHS going down the strip. The food there is high quality at most places.

Certainly did, I had BBQ shrimp, chilli shrimp, garlic shrimp, normal shrimp, and every other shrimp the shrimp places were selling hahaha

I never had the crushed ice thing I was told to try though.

I guess I never had any really traditional food. But we'll be back to they again, hopefully when it's not so hot.

Yep made it to the Magnum estate. Run down, but legend has it that one of Omama's mates has bought it. The locals filled me in as we were sitting in the water getting free beers handed to us. It seems that locals still like the Kiwi's accent haha.

Hawaii is an awesome lifestyle for sure.

I'm glad we got the Jeep because that 35 MPH speed limit would have done my head in with a honking great V8 that can't be used.
The roads were not that bad really.

You must have the patience of a Saint or the aggression of an MMA cage fighter...but it is possible to break the 35 MPH posted limit and exercise those ponies!

Can't remember seeing anyone willingly obeying the 45 mph limit on the H1. 10-15 mph over is the standard here for 35-55 posted areas.

At fiat 500 flew by me at must have been 100-110 last night. Never seen such a small car moving that fast.
