    MRI results back--severe tear (almost total) of my gluteus medius muscle. This is apparently similar to a severe shoulder rotator cuff injury. I'm a doc, so I know the basics, but curious if anyone has any specific info on this?

    Actually, it is funny. My friends are having a field day. But I can't run, I can't bike hard, and it is really really bumming me out.
