Hi Guys, I haven't been on fchat in quite a while, and certainly I was never in the NL section but I wanted to ask if anyone knows this Stradale for sale. Ferrari 360 - 3.6 V8 Challange Stradale F1 I know it was at Kroymans before for quite a while. Any info would be much appreciated.
We have an expert here on all Stradales in the world, I think Mike will chime in soon He is also the guardian of the Stradale community ...
Challenge-Stradale.com - Ferrari 360 CS VIN 133253 I've seen this CS in person a couple of times now. Looks good, I am not a fan of the cuoio leather though. The stripe is under a clear coat but it doesn't look like it's done by the factory. I have attached a pic of the stripe on the rear decklid. Usually there's more distance between the stripe and the FERRARI logo. On this car, the stripe goes all the way to the FERRARI logo. This CS was imported from Italy to the Netherlands in 2012, by Kroymans. It didn't drive much in the last 3 years, around 2000 km's. The previous owner put it on dutch plates in 2014. The car was spotted on the parking lot of a hotel in Assen in April 2015. Probably there for a Ferrari event on the Assen circuit: Ferrari Challenge Stradale - 8 april 2015 - Autogespot Coincidentally, I saw this car get dropped off at Forza Service in Oss last week. This is a well known independant Ferrari service shop in the Netherlands. But unfortunately, I don't know anything about the history, if it had any damage in the past etc. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here's a photo of a real factory stripe. I can't find a better photo on my Ipad but you get the idea. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Mike, thank you very much for the info and insight. Much appreciated. Admittedly I also am not a huge fan of the the cuoio leather but a big fan of TDF (my 355 is TDF with crema sports seats ) Kroymans had it for sale for quite some time as well as the red one, none of which seem to have sold. I am assuming/hoping that if Kroymans had it it would have been a good car in the first place.... I would prefer to get something form a main dealer. Kind Regards Philip
Better pic. The stripe on the frontbumper doesn't look factory either. Hoefnagels car vs a real factory striped car Image Unavailable, Please Login
A quick search based on what you said about the Assen event and I found this too ... Event: Ferrari Club Nederland Track Day TT Circuit Assen 2015 (bottom of the page!)
Challenge-Stradale.com - Ferrari 360 CS VIN 136767 It's not for sale on their website anymore. This car was owned by the brother of Eric Wolbert. I am not sure if he ever sold it though, maybe he still owns the car to this day. Last time I've seen the car it still had Wolbert stickers on it (June 2014).
Thanks guys! Called them and looks like car may be close to sold. Getting independent inspection now apparently... Mike do you have any info on vin 132916 ? Not TdF but no info on Challenge-Stradale.com
I have seen the car this morning, the independent inspector doesn't want to report to Hoefnagels nor Prins as he doesn't want to get in trouble with them as they again and again seem to raise doubts about his independency as soon as he reports issues. They will get the car back without a report.
Hi Roger thanks for the update. Very interesting what you say! I tried to get in contact again to ask if the car is sold yet this afternoon but got no reply? Any more insight on Hoefnagels? What is the general feeling about them from the local point of view. I had never heard anything about them before. Many Thanks Philip
We neither before one year ago or so.... They place nice adds in the dutch luxury lifestyle magazines..
