op, dmn23... thanks for the pics.

Sorry about the thread jack... but I have to ask. Did you take these personally?

Reason I ask, talk about fate/random connections/etc., the 1st picture in the slideshow is MY 1976 row 930 Porsche/Kremer 935 replica. I have only owned it a year and have been resurrecting it in my spare time. I did not have much history on the car so your picture is a nice New Years gift for me. Is there anything you can tell me about this photo?

    Thanks! :)

Top pic 1983 back home in the fatherland... bottom 2 as the car sits today 30 years later in Seattle. LOL!

German registry plate "TR-..." is for the town of Trier, the oldest town in Germany, founded by the Romans /Treverorum, famous for the Porta Nigra http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porta_Nigra):

Maybe this info helps you to find the first owner.

    PS:
I am still searching for good shots of the VECTOR W2 at the 1981 and 1983 Frankfurt Auto Show.
The VECTOR can be seen in the background behind the Porsche 935:

    Wow!

I did take those photos myself. I was thirteen at the time and living on an Air Force base not far from Trier. Actually, I hadn't meant to upload the photo of your car with the rest of the Frankfurt photos but I was too lazy to remove it. :D

The photos were taken with either a 110 Instamatic or a Disc camera (anyone remember those?) so that's why the quality is horrible and they're so grainy. We'd go down to Trier regularly because there was an M1 that sat in the BMW showroom there for what seemed like years. My only memory of taking that photo is that I thought it was a real Kremer DP 935 of some variety. Unfortunately I don't have any more photos of your car, or any other photos from Frankfurt for that matter.

    What a small world.

Also, is that an Aston Martin Virage in the second photo?

It was meant to be I guess that you didn't delete me, heh.

I was there from '80 to '84 so the picture could have been taken anywhere during that time. My best guess is '82 or '83.
