Wonderful ressurection....

About 4 years ago, I was interviewing Tonino Lamborghini for the 1st time and he show me a recent picture & letter of an individual presenting him for sale his father's Riva.

He commented me the asking price was "insane" regarding the condition of the boat to be fully restored, and he asked me if I could have an interest in buying it.

I replied no, because I had some others projects in mind.

Then, he laughed so load, I was surprised and asked him why ?

His mouth smiled... "what can he do with such boat ? I have the 2x V12 engines in the Museo"

Apparently, it has not been a problem for the Dutch team to get 2x others and adapt them to Marine use, thanks to Sandro Zani's tenacity !!!

My witness and his wife are very old, all they remember is their wedding day, back in 1971 (no one can forget the year of his wedding, isn'it), Ferruccio made them a surprise, driving his personnal Islero - light blue -, he let them left the Church in his Islero...

1971, no more Islero was produced for quite long time...

1971, that year is one more later after the "story guide of #6201" in which there is no factory documentation... only an English letter signed by someone instead of Ferruccio, but everybody knows Ferruccio was not speakinig & writing english !!!

#6201 is not like your car #6300 that is officially recorded belonging to Edmundo Lamborghini, his brother...

Since, I've also almost recovered all the cars personnaly titled in Italy by Ferruccio... to be published in the book...
