According to news fresh off the press, a brand new Lamborghini hypercar will debut privately at the Pebble Beach 2015 during Monterey Car Week before a possible public unveiling at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 in September.

Yes, a shame indeed. They've done the same with Reventon, Veneno and J(ota). With Reventon out..Veneno and J is exactly the same platform with Aventador. Oh, ok, with Veneno's engine a little bit pushed.

I don't know if it will look like the one above but in the rendering it looks like a heavy modified Sesto Elemento with Huracan elements..or the opposite.

 

According to GT Spirit about Centenario:

Last year, it was revealed that Lamborghini would produce a limited edition Centenario LP770-4 supercar to celebrate the founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini’s, 100th birthday. While the vehicle will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show 2016 in March, all 40 units (20 convertibles and 20 coupes) have already been sold out, each for at least £1.64 million.

The Centenario is likely to take styling cues from the current Lamborghini range. While the recent special edition Lamborghinis like the Sesto Elemento and Veneno have followed very extreme designs, the Centenario will be dialed down a notch, with an emphasis on a more stylish vehicle.

It is rumored that the car will be based on the Aventador and get the latter’s 6.5-liter V12 engine with a power output of 770 PS, which will be distributed to all the four wheels. It is claimed that the Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4 will sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 2.7 seconds as well as a top speed in excess of 350 km/h. That said, the technical specifications have not been confirmed by Lamborghini yet and we shall know the exact figures before Geneva 2016.
