I don't think his has been posted. Sorry if it has. I just found out tonight that Jim Heady passed away back on July 22nd. Jim was a really nice guy and he and I used to talk for hours about our love for the Maserati Quattroporte III and our Countach's. He will be sorely missed. Lamborghini Club America Mike
You guys are just finding out now? It was a bit too close for Joan to be at Monterey this year but perhaps she'll come to the October event in San Diego? http://www.lamborghiniclubwest.com/2015%20SD%20Flyer.pdf I last saw him and Joan at an annual Maserati/Lamborghini holiday party held at the SF zoo several years ago (2010???). Now that was an unusual evening ... I've known them casually since the mid 1980s. He really loved that QPIII and got it for a song ... It was a great color! He was instrumental in starting cooperation of the two clubs back then and for a long time thereafter. A true enthusiast.
Yes, Joan will be at the event in October as a special guest. We will be holding a special event Friday Night that is dedicated to Jim and his life, with all that he had done for the club. Should be a great event as well as a great weekend for the California Meet this year....cant wait to get there...always great weather and lots of events and fun! I really look forward to the spirited drive we have on Saturday and then the showing of the all the Bulls in "Little Italy" Saturday night with our big dinner there as well.
Really great guy; and Joan and Jim were always extremely gracious to Teresa and me as "New Comers and Youngsters" back in '06 and every year after. Looking forward to seeing Joan in San Diego.
