Seriously, if you see me, and the opportunity presents itself, I'll be happy to share the car, I do it all the time, as seen in this thread.

Awesome, thank you for these.

I think you missed his point, but all good.

I have done exactly that already within this thread, in fact, before we set the suspension on the Mimran Countach (twice - firstly for the film shoot, and secondly back to factory standard specs) I polled a number of different owners who responded with measurements, including yourself, I'm not in a place I can check, but the final specs are posted in this thread.
Or perhaps, you missed mine, i think he got perfectly fine.

A few pages ago we were discussing Bertone SpA wood scale model used for wet ink dot testing @ Turin Polytechnic in its scale wind-test chamber Countach Downdraft , here is another from that series, a rear view showing numbered markings on the rear panel, 1-16, and the ink dots of the DS of the car.

Correct, that's the one.

Speaking of Didi, here is a St Moritz memory from a decade ago - ES's Downdraft.

And there lies the root of the problem. Supercars is vague term loosely used by enthusiasts and journalists without any defined boundaries. You and I would can have different opinions on what qualifies as a supercar ( but not likely).

You certainly can't create classification on supercars without a set of specific requirements. Seems like a more fitting criteria for what's supercar would be if it was ever put up on teenagers bedroom wall. :-)

Porsche (once again) as a factory policy, made it a point officially not to build any exotic supercars that you couldn't use as a typical roadcar. I used to see 959 poster everywhere .. so they have failed miserably

All the best.

One thing I said we would do but have not had the time to do - yet - is weigh the car @ all 4 corners like Harry did, all in good time.

Just finishing up a total blueprinted rebuild of it's tuned Downdraft engine, I wonder what sort of numbers it will generate?

That said, that engine right there is one of the most beautiful of all automotive things.

Ha! Memories and here's the result of that weigh-in. I wouldn't read too much into the corner weights as the ground wasn't dead level, it was the overall weight I was most interested in.

Nothing was removed from the car beforehand so toolkit, jack, space-saver, etc all in place and approx 1/2 a tank of fuel showing on the gauge at time of weighing..

Jusryd and I took these beasts out last Saturday.
2 examples so different, yet related. Exactly 10 years apart.

Man, that was a killer drive.

Potentially yes.
Right now he's very much enjoying it on the highways out of town.
