it's a render... although it is believed this is the actual 'general' looks of the car, except for the wheels. There will be a lot of visible carbon fibre, and the presentation vehicle will be 'yellow'. (yellow accents on the clear carbon car) Like the Sesto Elemento, the car is completely made from carbon fibre.
Without the retarded yellow accents that last version would make an excellent facelift standard Aventador. If that ever happens I guess.
All this is is a facelifted Aventador, it looks much better than the Aventador, it doesn't look like a fighter jet or a deformed shark in the front but no where worth the foolish asking price. I really hope Domenicali can help change the culture at Lambo. Nobody cares or believes in Ferruccio vs Enzo anymore.
Take off that front splitter, then take off those fins in the back or make then much smaller then take off the side skirts and lastly put some paint on that rat like plastic body maybe giallo or verde, rosso, arancio, etc. And we end up with something nicer.
A bit too busy with all those fins/splitters but it's much better than i thought and much better than the Veneno or Reventon.
I'd rather see this, good or bad. Meaning a sports car company doing something exotic vs Ferrari pushing a facelifted station wagon !
coming directly from MARVELS comics or Star Wars 1000th episode.... not really what I would expect for Ferruccio's 100th Anniversary, but at least it is successful and that's all matter for the brand to continue to developp new models... one day, may be in the future I may have my wish accomplished because of sales of such models !
Styled by Stevie Wonder? Awful rear. All a bit boy racer for my tastes. Would have looked better being single colour. Look at Pagani for design. I do think both Lambo and Ferrari need a change in the design dept for future models. Of course, all opinion.
The Centenario looks sensational. The yellow parts of the car in Geneva are not the best idea, would look much better in red (like on the Sesto Elemento) and the visible carbon also does no favour to the design. But otherwise fantastic. Congratulation to Lambo.
I have seen this car in person when I was in Geneva and I must say that the Centenario doesn't look bad. It looks much better than the ugly Veneno. But I can't see this car as a real competitor to the LaFerrari, P1 or 918 Spyder.
Personally the car was badly proportioned and had over wrought styling front and rear, the rear haunches made it look as if the rear had melted in the studio. Pagani and Koenigsegg offerings were much better resolved. The new Apollo actually looked pretty wild too.
Why do Lamborghini keep re-skinning their flagship with a new bodykit, upping the power a tiny bit and calling it a day? Oh wait I know the answer...don't worry... > I am a Lamborghini fan, but seeing a re-skin over and over gets boring. Not a fan of this design. Thought the Reventon was cool (looking) and the Veneno Roadster, but that's about it.
