    question for LM experts:

are the sandlip LM tyres 345/60VR17?

is correct that ONLY the sand lip LM tyres are the 345/60VR17? or also the other tyres, the model without sand lips, are the same?

    tks for the help

The two sandlip cars I've seen had 345/60 VR 17.

Mine has the sandlip tires 345/60-17

The second generation Scorpions without the sandlip is also the same size 345/60-17

So how can you see the difference in the model?
have them different "names" or codes?

I have one of them with the sand lips and the other like the pictured above on my LM002's, will have pictures early next week in detail with the sizes.

Not mine! Imho, looks like a cheapo G setup...
I'd rather go for Countach exhaust setup with 4 pipes all the way to the rear and few silencers.

Yes, the newer ones are much weaker....the originals are run-flat tires. With no air pressure, the car rides on the stiff sidewall of the tire. You can drive that way at low speed for a while...long enough to get to a repair place if you don't mount the spare. That is why it is so hard to tell if you have a low tire on an LM with original Scorpions. When the tires are flat, the sand bead touches the ground. Otherwise, they look normal and like they still have air in them. I believe the original Scorpions had their military application influence built in, as, in an emergency, you could still go places, like, for example, if your tires were shot out, you could still get around, just like the military H1 Hummer.

Yes I bought the last set from the factory 2 years ago or less.

I thought to write the same, but skipped. :)

Wow, so that's true! Do you have some date of manufacture stamps on the tires? Original tires didn't have them.
