Not one but TWO Lamborghini LM002s! We had our Black FI America one go through a 5 year restoration and turned out fantastic, better then new. So our returning customer asked us to source him one and do the same. He used to own one and was sorry he ever let it go. So we located this believed to be 1 of only 2 ever made in OEM Verde, (green). It is 1 of only 301 total trucks made and 1 of only less the 250 in the early Car-berated form. RARE to say the least. Of it went to Steve at Driven Exotics - The Lamborghini Specialists - The Lamborghini Specialists. He worked his magic on this one just like our Black one, came out fantastic and better then went it left the factory line. A fine addition to any collection and an extremely appreciating asset. Congrats Ryan on your new toy, its loads and off to Canada to you on Monday. You can see more of our Black one here 1990 Lamborghini LM002 Lynnwood WA 11987392 Thanks for your repeat business. Yes the Verde color is a factory color and Lambo only made 2 of the 301 LM002's in it!!!! Uber rare. I'm so excited to be adding this beast to my collection. I thank both Roy Cats and Steve from Driven Exotics for there help with acquiring and rebuild her. If all goes well I will be driving her next week for the first time
The black one looks really mean! I didn't know that Lamborghini made 2 painted Verde. Super rare and it looks fantastic.
That color looks like verde Ithaca which I thought didn't appear until much later in the production run. While I'm sure there were green LMs, are you sure the factory painted any in this shade of green?
they look great, I still need to do the cats (remove) and sort out the reverse lock on mine, then get it painted, problem is I have my 512 in bits, need to finish that first!!!!
Hi Nick, Painting the LM is probably one of the easiest car I have ever done. All the panels can easily be removed except the roof. Thanks to the frame chassis with body parts attached to it.
Nick, I added a quicksilver sports exhaust to my LM. Really nice sound but not over the top! You should look into replacing the whole exhaust system
The paint is not bad on mine, but there are some cracks around the bonnet bulge and the paint is lifting on the roof, other owners have had similar problems with the roof, it looks like they didn't use a decent etching primer. My car had a gearstick that looked like a the Countach setup with a chrome gate that had a manual lockout, it was rubbish, so removed it, now I need to get it back to the original lift up collar system!!!! any ideas.
These cool trucks seem so rare to me.. I have only seen maybe 4 in my life and one was brand new at an auto show! So cool.
I have just looked at Quicksilver, it is not silly money £1,900, I have just bought new Nouvalari manifolds for my 512bb they were £2,600 a real work of art and fit very well.
I have a QuickSilver on my Black LM002 it sounds better (idle) than the ANSA on my Diablo VT 99, Countach 25th DD and LM002 F1 which all sport ANSA mufflers.
The whole body including the roof was sanded, repaired whenever necessary and reapplied with better base primer. I am quite glad that most of the body is fiberglass. So easy to repair/repaint.
I have ANSA headers and exhaust on mine with custom made center expansion chambers (bigger). Non-cat from the factory. Sounds awesome. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
His truck is late FI. ANSA headers are (readily) available for carb LM too. Although, to my liking I'd change the exhaust layout a bit and run 4 pipes to the back, not 2. So the final sound would be more Countach-like.
