    Anybody know the difference between a 4 ltr connecting rod and a 2 valve 5000S rod.
    I know they use the same rod bolt and nut, but the rod itself is a different part number, BUT what is the difference???

    Most likely it is shorter. Checking the stroke on a 5000 versus a 400s the 400s has a 7mm shorter stroke. To compensate the rod is probably shorter on the 5000.

    Chad, please tell me you were not considering putting 4 liter con-rods in a 5 liter engine? Or vice versa :)
