It's good to see the other cars registered either side of mine, there were 4 or so cars with the F92- OYR registration F920 to F924, mine is F922, I think that the Acapulco Blue RHD QV had one of these reg numbers as well originally. It is useful to know the situation with the AC etc as these UK cars were some of the latter QV's made but they were obviously just the same as the earlier QV's but with factory side strakes added, as it wasn't worth the hassle to do the other bits.

Some interesting RHD cars - thanks for posting Joe - unfortunately the Pearl white/mint green car was tragically destroyed in an accident in 1998. The Pearl white/white car I believe is now in Melbourne.

The factory tended to use up old parts on the RHD market cars. Even some RHD Annivesarios had the circular dash-window vents.

Frankly, the factory did not seem any better in 88 than it was in the early 80s on that type of thing.... so they sold 88.5 car at 88.5 price with minus options???? Really suck

I have a pic somewhere the day they were all delivered at the same time at Portmans on George Street with Mike Perry playing with them with a big smile on his face!

A friend of mine ordered a brand new RHD Annivesario. He asked why couldn't he have had the later dashboard vents etc.

"Impossible" was the answer.

This pair of images are my favorite "before & after" pair. The brake dust in the second image speaks for itself!

The owner is in the khaki pants on the left in the 2nd image. The car was gold, then dark blue in the 80s & 90s, and now he has painted it yellow. He still has it. Probably has 150,000 + on the clock.
