Hi Guys I have gone to this event probably every year for the past 10 years. This year it's Saturday afternoon, Dec 19th. http://lasvegascarshows.com/toy_run.htm Yes, it's put on buy a bunch of Hot Rodders but a few of us brave souls have shown up with exotics and everyone is very appreciative of each others cars. Think cars and coffee with Santa, his sled being pulled by a '67 Buick Rivera. Hundreds of kids come to the event in a school in a poor section of Henderson. Santa is there on his sled to make sure every boy and girl gets something good, (thanks to the car people who deliver the toys through the back door). Now, my little Alfa can't hold many toys this year so I would appreciate it if some other LV superstars helped me out and made some kids happy on a Saturday afternoon. And, if anyone else knows about any other toy run events in the Valley, here's a great place to post them. Thank you!
Awesome!!! Too bad I will be in Can Cun. Cars: 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider- Daily Driver Ordered 2016 Lotus Evora 400
Sure! Of course. Just bought the last of the toys today to fill up the 4c. Needed to fill every nook and cranny!
Some shots of today's event. Hundreds of happy kids. I bet over 100 bicycles were given away as well toys and a nice lunch. The kids were over joyed -- which is the point of, isn't it? I have no idea how many years his has been going on but I've been going since 2005 and every year, some underprivileged kids of Las Vegas get a treat courtesy of the Cruise'n Club of Las Vegas. Way to go guys. Here in Raleigh-Durham we team up with the Porsche guys and other exotic clubs and had our 8th annual toy drive....benefits Durham Rescue Mission. Many of the kids would not get ONE TOY if not for this drive....Looking forward to joining this event when Janet and I make the move. Merry Christmas to all, Keith
