Three days in a row with Aventadors! Friday: Grey FF on the 95, Aventador SV at Aria Sat: Yellow Aventador on Charleston, black 458 spider, red 458 spider. I got spotted by a friend who sent a cell phone picture. Today: black Aventador by Red Rock, red California, red 430 coupe on Alta
A few today: black 12C on Charleston, same matte black new M6 3X, silver 650s near Red Rock, blue Murci 640 on Ft Apache, black DBS, white R8 spyder, red R8 V10. White new Z06, black 991 GT3. (We are eating on a patio with a view of Ft Apache). A few other M6, M5, M3/4, 993s, maseratis, Bentley Continentals, etc.
Black/tan 458 spider by the Mandalay this afternoon. Black, red and grey GT-Rs. Silver vantage with an aftermarket hood on Charleston. Yellow/black 458 on Charleston at sky Vista. Silver 650S and red/black huracan towards Red Rock park.
I'm surprised how many 458s I've seen in the last few weeks. Honestly for the last 5 years Gallardos and R8s were more common than Ferraris. Still see Bentley GTs nearly daily. I actually forgot to mention from Friday, last model white R8 V10 on Sahara and then a new white R8 on Charleston. Saturday a grey LP560 Gallardo coupe on Charleston.
Last night coming out of Panorama, a 458 wrapped in yellow with sort of a Tron/Transformer cel shaded outline theme
Normally not a poster on the spotters thread but I couldn't believe my eyes yesterday. Saw a red LaFerrari at the Chevron smog check, St Rose and Spencer in Henderson. I wanted to turn around but was running late for an event at my sons school. This is where I take my cars for smog and I've gotten to know the guy there so next time I'm driving by there I'm going to ask him about it.
I thought it was strange that he was there because I believe in Nevada you don't need a smog check until the car is two years old.
Yes, although it seems that they want smogs based on model year, not registration - the DMV site says registration, but they forced us to smog our MY14 SUV this month even though we actually bought it new in '15.
Well I shouldn't have believed my eyes. It turns out it was an Enzo. When I saw the scissor door up and the front end from across St Rose I mistook it. I know its not a good excuse, probably why I don't post in the spotters thread. None the less still a beautiful car that apparently only had 1700 miles. He had to call the dealer to figure out where to plug the smog thing amajiggy into. I hope to see it cruising around Henderson.
Today a white California T by red rock park, a 50s Corvette in red and white, orange Viper at the lookout, a silver GT4 Cayman and titanium 991 GT3 entering the 215. Also a black 993 S on Charleston. Yesterday I forgot to mention a red NSX on the strip, black Gallardo with red mirrors and an orange 650S by City Center, and a white R8 at Downtown Summerlin mall.
Last night a green 650S by the Mandalay and cruised for a while in my car alongside a guy named James in a black 458 coupe.
White Aventador and a white California T together today on the strip. I was in the 355 but was a block ahead, they kept getting caught by lights.
Black 12C again at Charleston and Town Center a little while ago. Also what appeared to be a black 458 exiting from Kona Grill, but I didn't catch it quickly enough as I passed - it could have been a Cali T.
On the Strip last night I got passed by an orange Aventador with the plate BILIONS (or BILION2) and a few mins later I passed some young guys in an orange Huracan.
I saw a blue Huracan on the 215 in Summerlin. The color was amazing. Lamborghini has a winner on its hands. Driver, on the other hand, was old and never got up the speed limit or out of the right lane. Mark
