I've got a question that I'm hoping someone can answer. I was in Sao Paulo earlier this week and met a guy who wants to buy my US registered 2001 360 spider; will there be issues getting the car into Brazil and registered? Thanks in advance for any info.

Yes, he will have trouble. If I'm not mistaken, our laws forbidden any used cars from other countries to be registered unless they are atleast 30 years old (maybe 25?don't recall precisely). I remember reading about someone trying to bring in a used Lamborghini Gallardo from Europe and the feds holding it at the docks.. don't know what happened to the car later on, though.

Cannot import cars into brasil that are not NEW okm with MSO preferably .. used cars can only be imported with many restrictions only when they are 30 years or older.
