Mine used to be the Hacienda, but they took a bulldozer to it. Now it's a vacant lot. It was right next to town, yet on the beach. You could sit at the bar and see the marlin boats come into the harbor flying flags with the fish counts. Great dining.

The Cabo Surf Hotel because I surf! great longboard break at Old Man's. Nice private hotel with a good restaurant, next to some amazing houses and the Pamilla. Probably considered to be in San Jose.

My sons and I surfed there last year, I was wondering how the hotel was. I caught a nice roosterfish off that beach too!

It's been 5 or 6 years since I was there, so I'm sure there's newer/greater, but I really enjoyed the Palmilla.

the hotel was nice. Very boutique. Service was good. It was just far away from everything. Guests were all chill surfers.

I kid. We got a day-pass last time I was down there (the girls were interested in a topless pool) but it turned out to be a Canadian swingers hotspot. Pretty funny, but being all-inclusive it got a little out of control as the night went on.

This place had great night life last time we dropped in, but not so sure about the accommodations. I will check out the Cabo Surf Restaurant the next time I'm there.

i have been to Cabo for the past 5 years for meeting. We as a group have continued to stay at the Marquis (http://www.marquisloscabos.com/). The standard rooms are suites. Every morning they bring a pot of coffee and pastries. They have casitas that are 1900 sq ft. ( stayed in one). The service and staff are wonderful. Have a kids club. And their signature restaurant is first class. I like it better than One and Only Palmilla, and it is half the price.

We own a Condo at two Pueblo Bonito resorts that we spend every Xmas and New years at.
Xmas week we stay at http://www.pueblobonito-rose.com/
New Years week we stay at http://www.pueblobonitosunsetbeach.com/
We have stayed in hotels and Condos from San Jose Del Cabo to Cabo San Lucas and the Pueblo Bonito resorts are fantastic. The Rose is the busier Hotel on Medano beach on the Sea of Cortez close to all the action, Sunset beach is an amazing Hotel/Condo on the Pacific side where the waves are wilder, there are no beach vendors and you can walk along baron sun drenched beaches and look up at the millions dollar mansions that overlook the Pacific Ocean.

One time, my girlfriend and I stayed a Pamilla ....... gorgeous, classy and not cheap. Well, we did nothing but argue. NOT FUN !!!

    Cut to...

Very inexpensive yet very nice, all inclusive vacation resort. The service (if you take the time to say hi to them) was wonderful. The food and service (again, be pleasant) was close to great - - and the new lady made all the walls look like clouds in the heavens.

So, what's my point??? If you're really having a great vacation, a dog house can be a palace.

I know................what's that got to do with Cabo???:):)

    Just hav'n fun,

    Hank
