    Hello All,

    FerrariChat.com has teamed up as a sponsor of the Inaugural "Plantation Poker Run" taking place on May 11th, 2013.

    This event is open to all car enthusiasts and will be raising money for the Thomas/McMahan Cancer Foundation (501(c)3).

    While many charities raise money for cancer research, this special Foundation raises money to enhance the quality of life for New Orleans area cancer patients.

    Specifically, the Foundation provides wellness programs directly to cancer patients such as:

    Personal Counseling
    Genetic Counseling
    Yoga
    Spa Therapies
    Transportation to Treatments/Office Visits
    Lymphedema Therapy/Screening

    The Plantation Poker Run will begin 8:30 AM at the Houmas House Plantation & Gardens and finish at Frenier Landing Restaurant & Oyster Bar in LaPlace, LA around 1:00PM.

    Prizes will be awared to participants with the best poker hands and all cars will be parked on the lawn at Frenier Landing overlooking Lake Pontchartrain. So please come out, drive your car, and have a wonderful time meeting fellow enthusiasts.

    ***Participation in the poker run simply requires a minimum $50.00 donation to the Thomas/McMahan Cancer Foundation per car.***

    Thanks Steve, I've gotten a pretty decent amount of canvassing out there for the event. Some great cars have signed up thus far and some people have given well above the minimum donation amount.

    Even NOLA.com and Gambit have picked it up. Here is one of the articles:
