    This is the scuttlebutt that won't die. Having been to NOLA a few times, while it's a great start for Indycars and is already superb for club events, can the necessary infrastructure be built in time? I'm talking about additional access roads, permanent grandstands, food vendors that don't require a hike to the on-site go kart track, ditto for bathrooms, spectator mounds (since the track is pancake flat), improved drainage, etc.

    I don't see why it wouldn't be....

    Also I don't think the scale of indycar is what it was a couple decades ago... prep for such an event is not that big of a deal.

    I think it's pretty doable. I went to the Toronto race this year and while I had a great time was not that impressed with fan turnout/size of the event.

    Robin Miller implied this is a done-deal during today's race at Sears Point (or whatever the commercial name is).
