This event was just confirmed for April 10 - 12, 2015 at NOLA Motorsports Park.
All parking off site. I would suggest Avondale Shipyards everything else is not paved. I think Avondale Shipyards is gravel.

Obviously couldn't make the race but watched it on DVR. Crowd seemed pretty good considering the weather and such. How much of the track could you see if you weren't in the top row of the stands? NOLA is flat as a pancake. Racing was pretty good until the series of yellow flags came out. Indy racing IMO is getting better then F1 in some ways. Today's F1 procession race was another snooze-fest. What does everyone else think of the NOLA race?
Went to the race and I was really surprised how fun it was. All the yellows at the end were a little disappointing but it is what it is. Indy needs a better system of yellows instead of a full course yellow with safety car everytime.
I went to Nola Saturday and Sunday. Pretty good crowd Saturday and nice weather until 4pm. Sunday was rainy until about noon and the crowd was surprisingly good. The race was awesome! I agree the cautions were getting to be aggravating at the end. I kept thinking how great it was to have an event like this 10 minutes from my house. Kent
One year event ? Why does the State provide multi million $ funds to a private business with little hope of a tax revenue return? Oh yeah- LA
