I just brought home a 1987 Biturbo Si. It has what appears to be 3 piece lacy spoke BBs wheels. Gold tone center with polished rims. Was this a factory option?
While searching google I found a link to a you tube video that the guy claimed was a "Black Special Edition". Since my car looks just like his (exc for the wheels) I was wondering if there was such an edition or is this purely BS.
    Thanks
    Jorge

That's my thinking. I never heard of it as a factory option.

Those wheels were really, really popular with BMW owners in the mid eighties. I think they are aftermarket.

I like the wheels no problem there. They look like the ones on the white Biturbo on the BZ group home page.
