    It is the original Lucas fuel pump out of a Mistral. The Mistral had been in the hands of a "specialist" who had replaced the worn-out carbon brushes in the pumps motor by unsuitable ones, and damaged the threads between motor and base. He then found that the pump was "sluggish" and replaced it with a Bosch pump.
    I have now revised the pump: the gear-pump is in perfect condition. The threads are repared and the carbon brushes replaced by original LUCAS carbon brushes.
    The pump runs now smoothly and silently.
    I have an offer of $ 200.- for this pump, but I do not intend to let it go for less than $500 !

    Hello Wilfried:
    I am in at $500 USA on the understanding that this is a working pump delivering the required pressure.
    I have a 3500 GTi and two Mistral coupes all on original Lucas FI system with the original Lucas pumps - so a good condition working spare would be of interest.
