I thought SS were $130-150k but i see some in Europe with 250k asking price.

    Are they that high?

I know of an early 4.7 that sold in the high $300K USD. I had a buyer at $340K and someone beat him with a higher offer. The car was nicely restored but without power steering, wire wheel, or tools. The restoration was very fresh therefore the car still needed to be sorted out if the new owner wanted to use it for long distance driving.

Compared to Daytonas they are still a good value.

I've used Dynamat Xtreme with Dynamat Dynaliner one of top of the other. Very impressive results but also very expensive.

How many Maserati 4.9 Ghibli SS models were exactly produced by the factory?

And how much of these were models for the american market?

    How many with 5-Speed-Gearboxes?

These figures would interesting reflecting the market value compared to similar Ferrari Daytona/Lamborghini Miura.

In my opinion, it is not easy to trace because a factory 4,7 L with a original 4,9 L engine can be considered as a 4,9 L SS even if the 115/49...is not stamped
exemple for the 115.282 originally fitted with a 4,9 L engine, according to Fabio and Adolfo Orsi it can be called 4,9 SS even if the VIN is 115.282

    Obviously.

    But a factory 4.7 with a 4.9 is not a 4.7 but a ... 4.9 !

    No matter it's stamped 115/49 or 115.

    And a 4.9 is an SS or a 5000.

I know bout 1 115/49 that doesn't even bear the Ghibli SS script badge but the simple Ghibli one.
