'05 Quattroporte - Stay Away

    Just looked at a '05 QP - Executive GT. Black with cream interior and black piping. Looks beautiful. Has 75,XXX miles on it. Asking in the low $20's. I have not seen any of the service records yet nor have I had it inspected. Drives well in full auto. I found the auto shifting at 3,000 rpm in the paddle mode to be a bit rough.

    Just looking of a nice cruising car for around town. There are several available with half the miles for only a few thousand more but not the Executive GT and not the colors I like.

    Am I looking at a maintenance nightmare here?

    I have looked around and passed on the 05-06 duo-select. Problematic vehicles let alone if the clutch goes out.
    You are better off with a high mileage 07 in the mid to high 20s.
