    Hi Portenos,

Thank you for posting the photos. Very interesting.

May I have your permission to send these photos to Enrico so that more enthusiasts can see inside the new factory.

    Hi Portenos,

Enrico would like me to pass on his thanks.

    "Dear Giovanni,

Please pass on my sincere thanks to Mr. Mandarano for his generosity in allowing me to publish his photos.

I am sure all my visitors will enjoy them, especially in the light of the recent news from the Avv. Giovanni Agnelli Plant on the production of its 50,000th Maserati.

    Warmest regards,

    Enrico."

Nice pics Frank, looks like a warm and welcome reception!

After the events in Turin for the Centennial ceremony I did some exploring in the rental car before heading back to Modena. After driving that industrial area and taking some pics I found the factory and did a few laps of it before peering in through the all glass front entrance. It was a Sunday if I remember and it was all locked up; there wasn't anything in the lobby at the time, but overall it looked quite nice.

I was impressed with the 'car' bridge over Viale Nuccio Bertone that the finished cars come across before being lowered down in a large elevator to the fenced in storage compound across the street. The lone security guard however, wasn't all that impressed with me taking pics through the fence and kept a watchful Italian eye on me for the time I was there...

Guess now I'll have to go on another CarGuy Tour so I can see the inside of it!
