Today we enjoyed another beautiful car run organised by David Z. It was an exceptional spring day in Melbourne and we enjoyed a fantastic run up to Richard Stanley's Coachcraft workshop. We enjoyed hearing about his passion and wonderful work and then we headed off for lunch. I have to say the cars were very varied and quite magnificent and the whole event was a huge success. Everybody was very social and had a real enthusiasm for cars and the weather was just perfect. I hope you enjoy the pictures

Nice to see the cars all out and guys having some fun (I hope) with them.

    What no Espada?

Who had the Shamal? I know one owner over there. I think he had two of them at one point?

Thank you for the pics. Does anybody know more about the blue Quattroporte I pictured? It would be nice to have it included in the registry www.tipo107.com.
    Thank you!

What is the white car in the pictures, parked on the curb, in between the pictures of the silver Ghibli and red Alfa Romeo interior shot? It looks kind of like a 4 door Kyalami or Mexico, but maybe isn't even a Maserati.

Perhaps it's a Monteverdi, or similar marque?

It is a Monteverdi, in fact it's a High Speed 375/4. Not a common sight. Very cool spot.

I don't know sorry...but I have tracked down a few chassis numbers from Anamera which keeps records of cars sold from the last 8 years or so, often with chassis numbers either mentioned or in photographs

No. I met Hugh Zion back in 94 at the international Maserati event in Cotrina and he is who I was thinking of. I don't know if he still has a Shamal?

Yes I don't think the antenna will make it through the re-paint.
At this stage it is planned that the 375/4 will return to its original navy blue.
Any re-fabrication of the original TV setup facing the rear passengers will likely be using a modern digital tuner / DVR that wont require the external antenna.
The novelty of the 'Limo antenna' has worn off for me too.
Plus when you hit 80km/h the whole thing picks up and flaps like a bird lol.
