    Thought you guys might be interested in this car, attending the recent Hampton Court Concours of Elegance (in the UK). As many of you will doubtless know, it was built for Dr. Ettore Wax, a wealthy Genoese whose importing firm, Wax & Vitale, S.n.C., sold only the finest goods, like Johnny Walker whiskey and Connolly leather.

    The car was shown in a French mag (as it's usually located in the South-East of France) and showed "documents of authenticity" that do not match the usual documents.

    For me, this car looks like a nice Drogo work, in and out.

    You can find this mag on Ebay.

    A very interesting car.

    it is Enrico Wax, not Ettore and it has been discussed here before.

    He ordered numerous specially optioned cars from ferrari and Maserati. I have met the retired British owner and his wife, nice people, yes they live in the south of France but keep it conveniently on British plates like a certain Khamsin in Monaco...owned by a friend of theirs:)

    Thank you for correcting Wax's Christian name: I thought it was Enrico but confess to 'cutting and pasting' that sentence from an auction house web site!

    My knowledge of Maserati is virtually nil but I am familiar with the late Greg Garrison's 410 Superamerica reproduction, based on Scaglietti's design for Wax.
