    Att: 3500 owners.
I am doing some research on the type of headlights that came on our 3500's and am asking your help.
I would like to know the brand and model number of the headlights you have on your car.
Please post some photos and lets see what you have.
Also let us know if they are original lights or not.

Here are photos of the lights on my 101.708 Mitchell L Mitchell car which I assume are original to the car.
    They are Cibie #102.

Note the retaining ring around the light, which some had and some did not. Why?
I would like to purchase 1 or 2 more Cibie #102's. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

    What are yours?

This just in from Arnoud van der Sman Holland light specialist

    Hello Frank

This 3500 Gt on your pictures is beautiful with an amazing history !

1959 I do not have any info from 1959 so it is impossible to say when they change from 102 to 136

In this catalogues page from jan 1958 it says that they used the 102 till September 1957 and after that the 105
But this is on the Peugeot 403 ( Colombo’s car)
And I think the 105 is larger , at does not need the retaining rims like the 7”do

Maserati did the same on the 3500 Gt
You either could get your car with a 7”unit with extra retaining rims or a bigger units with the mounting for in the bucket fixed to the unit
This unit might have been on the early Maserati 3500 Gt the 105 later Maserati used the Cibie 169

So again I can tell you for sure when the Cibie 136 came on the market but in your case I would wait till I find Cibie 102 …

I have some parts for the Cibie fog lights other than that I don’t have any 3500 GT parts

    Kind Regards
    Arnoud

On my car (1961, swiss delivery) there are Cibie 33 169. If they are not original, they would have been changed before 1976, when I bought the car.
