    Investigator hired to determine why my QP3 burnt. Fire dept. said it started around the battery. Garage has no garage keeper insurance. No wonder he said it was not his fault. Last night he burnt my new to me SD1😡😩

    And I have to confess, I do search EBay for a nice unrusty Sd1,vitesse just in case one still exists in Australia . A real game changing design in its day

    Is a Ferrari tool. I gave away five Triumph TR 8's. I could not find anyone to buy them. All but one was scrapped😞.

    So just to be clear, the mechanic intentionally did something that would trigger a fire to destroy your QPIII?

    I thought the definition of Arson was criminal instead of accidental... Just curious..

    Since the insurance paid a loss they will go after the shop to recover cost if they can prove neglect

    Might be rodent damage. Rodents have been known on many accounts to chew wires in homes or cars starting fires. They have been recognized as major cause of house fires by the insurance industry. It may have been the "little" arsonists.

    insurance company will not investigate because of cost. end. the guy has no money. so I am out $18,000 time to move on

    insurance was, 'stated value'. they would go no higher than $10,000. after a QP3 has little market value. I am having to hire an approved appraiser for my other cars.
