    Hi Maserati friends,
Regarding the lubricant to be put in the airconditionning compressor, the user manual of the Ghibli SS mentions 'TER 34'. What is this, and is there a modern equivalent? gear oil? Or something dedicated?
    thanks!

Hello---Your York (now manufactured by TCCI) compressor used mineral oil.

Today you can use either of the ones below:

    Zerol 150; Zerice S-68.

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST STILL BE USING THE ORIGINAL R-12 REFRIGERANT TO USE THESE OILS. If you have somehow switched to the R-134A refrigerant you can not use these oils; R-134A is never going to properly cool the Ghibli anyway. In that case save yourself a lot of heartache and go back to R-12 after a complete flush.

    Regards.
