If anyone here is in need of such a service send me a P.M. and I’ll forward the contact info for the guy that performed the work on my car. I was extremely happy with the final product and fee.

After having my car at another “reputable” shop in Central CA for over a year I got it back “primed and ready for paint”. Turned out it was anything but that. We poked and prodded a little and found thick layers of bondo (AND I MEAN THICK) and covered rust. After trying to address these areas individually we came to the conclusion the car needed to be re-blasted to see what was really going on. I’m posting SOME of what he uncovered. I have hundreds of photos but I’m not here to bag on the previously shoddy work….rather, to illustrate what a perfectionist he is and let some here know that there are still some craftsmen out there that take pride in what they do and charge a reasonably fee for it.

Everything single imperfection was addressed and the car was brought to a metal filed state. He also painted it to perfection as well!! But that'll be another thread :)

He has experience with all types of vintage cars, both American and European. He just finished a Miura.

I can share many, many more photos if interested.

Yes, the previous work would not have lasted long.
But the new work looks great, a real restoration.
