    Hi Maserati friends,

Since I could not find a reason why this most sexy of "modern" Maseratis, the 3200GT, boasting a superb 370hp twin turbo V8 and looks to die for, should be "worth" (!) about the same as an Alfa Romeo Spider or an MGB, I felt I had no other choice than to add it to the "classic" Maseratis! (Mistral 4l, Ghibli, Ghibli SS, Ghibli spider conversion, Bora, Khamsin)

I drove it today and boy does it move.

This future classic is so criminally undervalued that NOW is the time to get one!

Totally agree, Tom. I bought one (manual box) earlier this year. It's a keeper :)

I fully agree that the 3200 GT is a keeper - I bought a 2000 3200 GT Six Speed last year and the handling (just this side of twitchy steering) and the power on tap are wonderful. To me the 3200 GT and the 3500 GT are the bookends of the true GT era of Maserati.

I would agree with you if they had not made the 4200 GT wich has a better motor.

The 3200 GT engine is also great, and moreover - which I think is Colin's point - it was the last to be made at Viale Ciro Menotti. The 4200 GT has an engine made in Maranello.

That is very true and a good point. Although a Ferrari engine is not a bad thing....

I also have added a newer Maserati (2006 GS) to the fleet! It is an interesting car!
I am just not sure I like it as much as the older ones! But, since I just got
it in August, I should give it a chance!
