Bonhams have announced that they will be offering the 1930 Maserati 8C3000 #3004. Looks really awesome and would be quite a thing to behold. Claimed ex Nuvolari (weren't they all?) Belgian GP, found later date and restored, much more to come from Bonhams I am sure. Will be offered at Amelia Island on 10/3/16 and no idea what sort of estimate or reserve but if the provenance pans out perhaps $3 million would be ballpark.

BTW, I have no link to the seller, this is just for discussion, gossip etc.

I would like to quickly point out that the claims I made in post one and based on information from the internet, not bonhams. They will make announcements and print a lot description in march.

    Cheers

I've raced against this car quite a bit with VSCCA and at HSR events in Savannah - we have a pre-war racing group. Willem's car and my car are on this set of prints from Hershey. That's me and my car on page 1 and 4, although the engine specs for my car are now ~70hp but still stock 939cc.
