    Ok finally going to pull the trigger on an 09 GT S next Thursday, anything specific to look at/be concerned about? 14K miles, will hopefully have my Lambo mechanic put her on a lift and take a quick look. Will post pics, thx

    These cars have become such a bargain for well sorted cars. I am seeing the 2012 reaching the low 72K with little miles. many 15 are going around or below the $100K.

    I have a 2009 with the 599 F1 - never had a problem in 13,000 miles

    599 F1. Will drive her San Jose to PHX, about 750 miles. Should be a good "shakedown" cruise

    to tell the truth, even with two Diablos out there in the garage, I am really excited to go pick up this GT S tomorrow. Will post pics and a review of the drive from SJC - PHX.

    Just got home, left Gilroy, CA about 0800 local rolled into my Chevron (gas tank MUCH bigger than my bladder!! Haven't done the math yet but damn thing had to get better than 25 mpg and i was rarely under 80, sometimes way over) Two traffic jams, one in Pasedena for a good 25 miles, one in PHX 10 miles, she liked stop and go traffic about as much as the Lambos, but she ran FLAWLESSLY!! And what a sound!! And comfortable. I really loved the road trip, 710 miles, one stop. Pulled into the garage with 14,995 on the odometer. She, an '09 GT S, is the perfect garage mate for the Diablos. I'll try to post pics from the iPad...

    How do you like that suspension? Just stiff enough - you just got the best car for value that is out there - much better handling then my 612 but not my Scud - I installed cF door handles and mirrors - had the chrome around the windows replace with painted black (from the factory) and had the springs powder coated in red which was really a waste because you need to be laying on the floor to see it - a wonderful car

    There are 300 2009's that are special like this one - has the 599 F1 that makes a heck of a difference

    Indeed it does. Personally never knew you could get the F1 gearbox in the States even in 09?
