    Hello guys,

I saw a video recently from a guy named Salomondrin, who has a YouTube channel, testing supercars etc. Recently he uploaded a video in which he is testing a Maserati MC12, A Pagani Zonda F and a Koenigsegg CCX. Due to the duration of the Maserati test he claimed that there is a rumor that Maserati will going to build a new version of the MC12 based on LaFerrari. He heard this at this year's Geneva autoshow.

Is that true? I mean, it will be great to see another one.

Seems dubious. What would be the value to Maserati in doing that?

The MC12 ended up being very different technically from the Enzo and then it went on to become quite a successful race car. At that time it was being used to establish Maserati in people's minds. That's been done.

Maserati is now building high volume luxury passenger vehicles now. If they ever build the Alfieri it won't be low volume either. They introduced it way too soon.
