After 8 months of hard work I am proud to say that Ghibli 132 has seen the light of day again after a nut-and-bolt 7-figure (that's right, 7 figure) restoration.

Matching number, matching color, low miles, US car. Maserati Classiche Documents. Tools & Books. Borrani's and Standard wheels.

Luckily I got hold of the car before the interior was 'done' (= ruined with new leather), so I was able to carefully preserve all interior leather from 1968, and it looks great.

If you are interested, PM me. I have 5000 pictures of the restoration.

    Amazing...

How do you spend 7 figures on a restoration, I'd be very curious?

Maybe he's counting to two decimal places? ;)

Yeah me too unless multiple owners were involved during the restoration and lot's of money and mean LOTS was wasted?

Fantastic, and probably much better than factory original...

Just curious if you could roughly break down the 7 figure cost, say in:

    $xxx - body work
    $yyy - interior restoration
    $...etc...

Very interested to understand where the money adds up if it can be shared with the group...
