Any help in identifying people, car, truck and place is appreciated. I first thought it was Bindo & Ernesto Maserati with Giuseppe Farina and a 4CLT (launched 47?).

Others claim it is a 4CL (launched 1939).

(I have googled a 1939 Maserati toy truck of same appearance).

    Thanks.

That picture appears on page 47 of the "Maserati - A Century of History" (Cancellieri et al., 2013) book.

According to the caption the picture was taken in 1938. It is a 4CL, and the men are, from the left; Bindo Maserati, Giovanni Rocco (test driver), and Corrado Filippini.

... and the truck is, again according to the caption, "a Fiat 621L bodied by Orlandi".

OK, thanks for the book caption info.

I am still not convinced that Ernesto Maserati is not in it (left or right) ... :)
