The Spring Drive will be Saturday the 5th of April with a rain (snow?) date of Saturday the 12th of April. The starting place will be the same and the finish will be the same or close by. The route will be mostly the same with a few interesting variations. This year I'd like to mention the Boys & Girls Club charity that JonW created and we support with the Greenville Car Show. The money collected does more than provide the Santa visit and a few arcade games. Now the benefits continue all year due to your generosity. When Jon has time he'll post an update here. While not a requirement to enter the Spring Drive I hope some of you make another donation to the B&G Club charity. Please give any contribution to Jon. I believe contributions are tax deductible. If it ends up raining on the 5th, and the event happens on the 12th, i am in for sure. B&G club is such a fantastic charity. I hold cooking classes for the kids at our B&G in Atlantic City. So much fun. Thanks to the generous donations we recently got a new kitchen and are starting a rooftop garden. Its great to show these kids that food doesn't have to come from a vacuum sealed package or a fast food chain.
The MGB goes in paint this weekend. If by some miracle, we can finish the interior, finish the mechanicals, rebuild the carbs, and get her back together by the 5th, I am all in. Thanks for organizing this!
Tough choice now. I promised myself I'd get out on the track this summer and the first BMWCCA event is on April 4/5. Unfortunately, I think I'm out unless it rains.
I am in and thanks for the shout out for the Boys and Girls club Charity event and our new year round initiatives. More on that in a later thread. Jon in Utah
I'm in, but it will have to be a heckuva drive back home afterwards. I have tickets to a show in DC Saturday evening. FYI, April 12 is the FCA MAR "Spring Thaw" event in Reston, VA. Jon, I will bring the Frosty Balls t-shirt you loaned me last year--unless a nice donation to the charity will let it stay with me! 1. DonB 2. Bob C 3. Mondialmerle 4. VGM911 5. Well Don that is a classic shirt but a few extra meals for the Boys and Girls club kids keeping them off the streets on Friday and Saturday nights would be worth the sacrifice. Make the check payable to the Boys and Girls Club and Thank You. QUOTE=Cobraownr;142947391]I'm in, but it will have to be a heckuva drive back home afterwards. I'm a bit concerned about the frost-heaved, potholed roads for the drive. The roads last year were pretty bad, and after this winter, may be worse. That being said, I'm in, probably as a navigator for someone. Jon, please PM me the donation details for the B&G club. Thanks.
Would love to make it but Lindsay's sister is getting married the night before and getting up early will be tough. If it gets moved to the 12th I'm in.

The route stays secret until the time of the rally. After many years of doing these I think the consensus is that this avoids many problems. Bob
If you have a navigator the instructions are easy to follow. If you don't have a navigator just follow someone who does.
Please sign me up! Scott: I'd love to have you as navigator again if you've sufficiently recovered from the PTSD from the last one. Paul
