    We will have to let Raven go to a better place tomorrow due to cancer. She was a rescue dane and would follow everywhere. I will miss her so much. Hope C&C helps take my mind of of this.

    I feel your pain. I am so sorry for your loss. I rescued my cat ( named him Enzo :) from the Humane Society when he was 5 and he died at age 18. Cried for the better part of 2 weeks. Hang in there.

    I feel your sadness and pain. my dog is not doing well currently. he is on my lap now and I kiss him every chance I get. he won't be here forever:(

    I hope the best for you and your beloved companion.

    Jay I wish I could but it would be too hard on her to fit in the 328. Just kidding she had an episode last nigjt where she could not stand after a couple of minutes. I was up till the wee hours in the am to get her to the couch. Here is a picture of her resting on our other rescue Great Dane tonite

    Our hearts go out to you and Carol. We've been where you are a number of times with our pets and it is never easy. Every day with our pets is a gift. It is like losing a member of your family.

    John, went through this myself twice last year. I know this is very hard on you and your family. My wonderful cat Jack is sitting next to me as I type this, meowing for attention. These critters really do give unconditional love and companionship.

    Please take care during this difficult time, and know that you are doing the right thing. I will give Jack some extra attention in honor of Raven.

    Sorry for your pet and you. The must never suffer, your doing the proper thing for her.
    Had to do the same with my beloved beagle Daisy last Christmas.

    So sorry to hear this. We just had to put our cat "Tony" down for the exact same reason. They become part of the family and it is very hard to see the go. You do not want them to suffer either.

    I had to put my 15 year old Beagle down about 5 months ago. I am sad to see him not with us anymore but thankful his suffering and pain has ended.

    Hang in there, myself and others here understand your pain.

    What a beauty...I'm sure you gave her a good life...respect to you for rescuing them...sympathy for your loss...many of us have been there...my advice is always to focus on and remember the lives and not the end.

    A long time lab owner who has gone through this three times before. I know yours and your families grief and I hope that space that Raven filled in your life gets filled again soon with another soul.
