    Hey Guys,

Do you have any recommendations for an outdoor car cover? I'm not looking for a plastic one, but one that has breathable material. Would prefer a local shop, but if you have a good recommendation for an online store, I would be interested in that too.

    Thanks in advance for help.

Thanks Blu. I think I will look into the weathershield brand.

    Hi Bill,

Hope all is well with you. I bought RainX cover from Walmart for $50 or $60. It fits pretty good, soft and can be used indoor and outdoor.

    Bill,

Be VERY careful when using car covers. The exterior of your car must be absolutely dirt and lint free before putting it on, as should the interior of the car cover, otherwise you are just going to scratch the bejesus out of your car...ask me how I know.

Also, I would STRONGLY encourage you to have your paint professionally ceramic coated. I do it to all of my cars. My black daily driver slept outside all year long and when I sold a couple of years later she looked as good as the day I bought her. A good ceramic coating will also provide some level of protection for the car cover.

FWIW, I really like covercraft covers too.

Amer, good to hear from you! Hope you're enjoying your 3 awards from the recent Ferrari Annual Meet?

Joe, Thanks for the advice. :) I will definitely look into ceramic coating.

I buy mine here: Welcome to AutoChic.com!
