    So where are the good events for next weekend? We have a 1st annual something going on here in Leesburg, VA on the 7th. With the new ride, I'm willing to travel pretty far for a good event. What's out there?

The event and registration is free of charge and open to all car makes and models. Participants may register the day of, however, we are encouraging participants to preregister by clicking the icon above to guarantee their space. The Hubcaps will also be performing live from 4:30-7:30! Free T-shirts will be given to the first 100 participants. Drawings and giveaways will be held all day.     From the "And now for something completely different" department:

    Sept 6 - Classic Car Corral at RIR, in conjunction w/ race. $75 gets you two race tickets, two pit walk tickets, parking in special (guarded) corral much closer to track than most other areas, and a couple little momento goodies (magnetic dash plate, car ID card...). If you like NASCAR racing, it might be worthwhile.

    Looks like Leesburg Village on the 6th, Gran Primo party on the morning of the 7th if I can wake up early enough and hit another on the way home. Probably go park her at the Herndon show and find a bar to watch the Redskins game.
