Scott- Since you are a Mopar guy I am thinking a new Chrysler 200C , all black ?? Give us a hint ......
Touche' I am going on a covered bridge tour drive in Buck County tomorrow morning with BCX gang. I promise to take photos for you. My photos would never compare to yours. I do need to get to Westchester before the winter rolls in. Great group of guys there with new cars weekly. Always interesting.
Well, I tried to go to C&C but by the time I got there at 9:15, the lot was completely packed and there was absolutely no place to safely park the TR. On one hand, it is amazing how big our once little C&C has become, on the other, it sure seems to me that we are getting close to wearing out our welcome. We are now inhabiting well over 8 rows of parking, leaving just a few reserved spots for store patrons of the far end stores. Someone needs to work out an initiative where the store owners are getting some incentive for putting up with this. The exposure of C&C for these little stores is great, but if it doesn't lead to sales, their patience is going to run out. Someone needs to take the initiative to work with the store owners to make C&C a mutually beneficial situation. Just my .02
I've been speaking to the manager of Starbucks who has vested interest in us not leaving. The only two stores that complained were apparently Clothes Mentor and the hair salon, but according to the Starbucks manager has made no additional complaints. Also, I've been told that PJ's is open to us using their lot as well. That said, there is apparently someone sending out emails to a list obtained by the lady in the Jaguar convertible a few weeks back soliciting a change of venue starting in a couple weeks. Maybe this will result in a slight reduction of crowding with some of the attendee's going over to the other venue. Having spoken to some of the core group members (the ones that have been here since 2007, I am not one of the ones moving over.)
LOL, and someday I'm going to make it up to the BCX group! Oh, I'm 17 minutes late...and I'm not done editing today's pics yet, but just for you... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Alex, that is Sheree in the Jag, and I know that she had investigated a different venue nearby on Smithbridge road, but I don't think that panned out. I think our current location is ideal, and Starbucks likes our business. I do patronize a couple other stores there (Giant, etc) since I only live a few miles away. I'm not sure what else we can do, but moving to the back lot has been a huge help. Joe, I saw you come in, I arrived only a couple minutes before you, and there were several open spots. I usually never get there until after 9, and I agree, it can be tight. I think some of this will solve itself, with the colder weather arriving, it will dwindle down to the "core" group again. I know the last couple rainy Saturday's, a few of us (Alex, Andy, Frank, me, etc) just hung out inside Starbucks.
Ahhh, my apologies if what I had heard is not correct, but an email has apparently gone out that stated that Cars and Coffee is moving to Penn Woods (I think it was?) a few miles south of our current location. I had people coming up to me today asking about it and I reiterated that I was not part of that group. Some snake charmer! (Ha...I kill me!!!)

That I didn't know. I guess I'm not on the list. No matter, I hadn't planned on going anywhere, unless kicked out. Not to say we couldn't drop in once in a while, always good to have alternatives. Thanks for the pics as always!
Scott...congrats on the new car and great color! (I am sure the Ferrari guys will agree) Is the TR a Twin Turbo Car? I think I definitely see 2 compressor housings in the grille picture.
Scott, awesome and congrats. Does anyone else think it is kind of offensive that someone is laying claim to WC cars and coffee as their own and stating that it is moving? I'm not going to cry myself to sleep over it, but it's a little selfish I think.
May not be a bad thing Alan Ok. What is that white Porsche? The one with the glass roof. Thanks for the pix Alex. Boy you don't know how much I miss those Saturday drives and a stop at the Whip.
