H0 Ho Ho Feels like Christmas

For the Seventh consecutive year we will be delivering Toys to needy Boys and Girls on December 13th Saturday beginning at 10AM. All are invited. All are welcome. I just need a head count for the Continental Breakfast. You may remember a warmer time when the Skies were Blue and the Roads were clear and we raised over $9000 during the Greenville Car Show. Well about $2000 of those dollars raised will fund a Christmas Party for the Kids of the Boys and Girls clubs of Delaware H. Fletcher Brown Club. Santa, Food, Gifts and the Wilmington Police Motorcade will all be present. The Wilmington Police will also escort us in a Sportscar Caravan delivering unwrapped toys. All purchased with the proceeds from the Car show. Its a wonderful family affair so bring the kids to help the club Kids open and build and use their gift. Nothing to bring but yourselves. Gifts are bought by Elves. They know who they are
Starting point is the Greenville Shopping center. The same one and location as the car show.

PS The balance of the money raised will fund a food program to keep teenagers off the streets on Friday and Saturday evenings during 2015 and out of the influences of the underbelly of Society who would ruin these Teenagers future if they had a chance. We provide meals as an incentive to come into the club when the little children have gone home. The Teens are welcome to eat and play games in a safe and supervised environment.

Yes that is correct Alex. I think the bulk of the crowd is coming at 10:30. That gives one hour of social time before the drive to the BG club

 

Weather looks to be cooperating for the Saturday Drive. The kids LOVE the Sports Cars so bring them out!! We are meeting at the same location as the Greenville Car show but in front of the Brandywine Brewing company . They are providing a Continental Breakfast for us. Please arrive around 10:30. ISH. Police Escort begins at 11:30 Courtesy of the Wilmington Motorcycle Police Team. Thanks to Co owner Dave of the BBC for hosting us for a third consecutive year and a Special thanks to our own Alex Lee for tirelessly communicating with the Wilmington Police to arrange the escort to the BG Clubs. The kids love the Police on Motorcycles and the Police hang around at the club and interact with the kids. Its a very special day!! Jon in Delaware
