Looks like rain for sure on Saturday. I can't stand it anymore and will be driving on Sunday. If that happens anybody that wants to drive , let me know.
Last summer here boys and girls for me so anybody that wants to get in a few good miles, come join me for some fun.

FWIW, roads by C&C are a little wet but otherwise perfectly fine.

Bob -- great idea! I was thinking of posting with the same idea to see if folks wanted to go for a drive on Sunday. I actually just got back from taking the 575 out for a little spin for the first time in twelve weeks (I counted)! OMG, I am so excited for spring to be here. Would love to join you. Only constraint on my end is that I need to be back home by 2 or 2:30pm. Looking forward to it!

    Cheers!

But Sections of 202 in West Chester between C&C and me are pothole-ridden...beware.

That's funny, I count as well. This weekend will be 5 weeks for me, and it was 6 before that. I need to at least put some fresh gasoline in the thing.....

We can see what's going on with the weather, but the roads I've seen so far today were pretty clean although a few gopher holes here and there.we can meet up near there somewhere and get away from the bicyclists.

I wouldn't say perfectly fine, we had one casualty from the potholes last weekend.

Well two casualties... My wife destroyed a wheel and bent a suspension arm on the volvo right on creek road last night. I meant the roads are fine from a salt perspective. As for potholes, less of a worry for me... My MGB has 70 series tires!!!!

Saw over on FB. Nice! Both fired right up and ran, like just driven yesterday? Nice. Sorry to hear about our wife's rim, I know where most of the potholes are on my commute, but in the dark, they can surprise you.

Hey Bob! Would live to do this with you but the grandbaby is visiting and I haven't seen him in three weeks. I will definitely come up one Sunday and we can get crabs after a drive.

Dilworthtown Rd between Cheyney and 202 looks like a f*cking war zone...if my Lotus doesn't get lost in one of those craters I might be in... :)

Speaking of destroyed roads...public service announcement - exotic or daily, do not use Rt1 north from Rt3 to Haverford Ave. Destroyed.

    Meeting place?

    Thanks for the info.
    Hope you can make it.
We can meet at Starbucks. I'm available all day, but anyone that would like to go can post what time is bad for them and we'll try and work around it. I'm thinking late morning. Maybe 11. That way the roads will have time to dry.

    In.

If it makes it easier for you, I can meet at that rest stop (forget the name) we used for Don's Spring Drive.

    Thanks!

I'm in too. Brit, glad you can make it!

Regular C&C meeting spot easier for me, but I can be flexible. Agree with Bob's idea to start a little later to let the roads dry. I have to head back by 2pm at the latest. So still aim for a wheels up at 11am?

Glad you guys could make it. Lots of fun. Nice to get out after the long winter. Roads really weren't as bad as I thought they would be.
