    Winter is finally gone! No more snow and ice. Cherry Blossoms would be oh so nice! Start getting your cars ready. The FCA-MAR's Annual Spring Thaw is just a month away and we'd love to have you there!

    When: Saturday, April 18th 2015
    Where: Clyde's of Tyson's Corner (8332 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA)
    Time: Socializing begins at 12:00 Noon. Lunch begins at 2:00 PM.

    I will be there with my 360 Spider, which is currently with Richard and Fernando at Competizione getting ready. Can't wait, though I won't be joining for lunch as it is just too late for the kiddos.

    My car is also at Competizione getting the fluids changed and ready for the driving season. I can't wait until I get her back!! Please look for me when you're there to say "Hi". I enjoy meeting people and putting names/faces to their screen names.

    What's that blue crate in the foreground of the Spring Thaw promo photo? Looks like something at a Studebaker convention, or maybe DeSoto. Oh, wait..... It's beginning to look a little familiar.

    I really miss doing this in Reston. Please tell Laura to just double the price of admission next year and get us back to Town Center.

    But I will be there, in the 599. Last year was the 612.

    Hi Ray,

    Good to hear from you! National Harbor had another event scheduled that day. As for Annapolis...we had not looked there. We've been looking at other locations, but due to scheduling/commitment issues and cost we decided to go back to Clyde's of Tyson's (who treated us really well last year).

    We're always looking for other possibilities. If you have a place in mind (in Annapolis), please let me know. We may look into it for next year!

    We have to provide a list of people who are attending (to plan for the meal). Deadline for registration is 4/11. So, if you plan on attending the luncheon, please contact Laura Ebert sooner rather than later. You have 1 week left!

    If you're just showing up to socialize and not have lunch with the MAR, then there's no need to register.

    Wish I could make it. I committed to another show which is a Children's Hospital charity car show the same day in Baltimore hosted by some friends. Maybe next year, Spring Thaw is always a fun event :)

    You're not talking about Joe Zaff's charity event are you? I thought that was the week after on Saturday April 25th? Spring Thaw is Saturday April 18th!

    Nah Bill I'm talking about Children's Miracle Network Charity car event in Baltimore MD, it's one I committed to a while back. I will be at the Cars & Coffee at Lamborghini of Wahsington in the morning and then loop back to Baltimore. if I can carve out a sliver of time maybe I will come by just for 20 mins or something to the thaw. Spring thaw is AWESOME!! :)
