I've already told my dealer I want one. I don't think until Sept at the earliest.

Interesting. What did you think of it? It looks a little odd in the picture, but it might just be the angle and painted roll bar.

Interesting to see the contrast with the old Spider. Seeing the two together, the new car looks bloated, bulky, over-designed, and ill-proportioned - like a lot of modern cars. Maybe it looks better in person.

Alfa just announced pricing yesterday. Spider starts at 65k. That is a lot of bang for the buck, however it apparently it takes 6 weeks to build one. 2,500 total production per year, only 800 to 1,000 for US.

Personally I think all cars today look bloated. The 458 looks like a linebacker compared to a 308. The little Alfa actually is pretty chisled in comparison.

Unfortunately it appears the roll bar made in Carbon Fiber is not coming with the early production cars. And, I believe it's like a 10 grand option. The CF targa top is like 3500 I believe. My feeling is there won't be many made this way.
