Classics on the green 2015

...helping to run the event again. But without the pretty blue Jag this year.

But it'll be back next year, better than ever!

 

I plan to, but I'm running short on time getting ready for it. My plan at this point is to enter my Cayenne Turbo S for grins, but if they don't get a couple more trucks and I end up thrown in the porsche category, well, I'll bring some lipstick for the pig and make a joke out of it maybe.

 

On my calendar. Either the Lancia streetcar or the rallycar, maybe both.

 

The family and I will be there! Are you guys doing the Saturday events as well? It really is a fun time driving on the rally on Saturday. We won't be participating in the dinner, but we will be eating out Saturday night.

I had a good time last year for my first time at the event and am planning to go again. Man, there was a slew of cars there! Maybe that was because Ferrari was the featured marque? I'll most likely do just the Sunday show and skip the earlier festivities.

Robbie, I saw a Dinan M5 at BMW of Sterling with 736 HP!!! Incredible!!

 

What colors?

 

It's white over red with black wheels. I took this snap when I was there dropping off my BMW for service the other day. Cool car.

If the car is running I'll be there, 50/50 at this point. I may just come to the show. If running, I'll definitely do the saturday drive again, it was a lot of fun even with the rain last year.

 

I'm out. There was talk of a truck category but didn't happen. No Maser category either. So either way I have a loser car in a broader category.

 

I didn't know about this show. Does anyone know if it is to late to register?

As George just mentioned, registration is still open! Go to Classics on the Green Official Website to register.

Once you're at the show, look for the Red Mondial (Bill P.) or under the club tent and introduce yourself. It would be great to meet another FChatter!

I was going to tow the 356 down with my Turbo S then enter it but if there is no class I will just use my k3500.

Thank you for the info Bill. I called the hotel after seeing the post to find out if I could bring my little dog they said yes. I unfortunately don't have a Ferrari yet but will most likely bring the 356 and maybe the spyder. Depends if I can talk someone else into towing that car down.

That's ok! We won't hold it against you (that you don't own a Ferrari). Still stop by if you can. I would like to check out your 356 and Turbo S.

I hope to make it on Sunday to watch, but I did not enter my car this year. I normally enjoy the Saturday drive as well, but I can't make it this year due to my wife's campaign activities.

Looks like we won't be making this show. I held off on registering because of the weather forecast and apparently its a pre-registration show only. Maybe next year
