Hey guys, Back by popular demand, the Radnor Hunt Concours has agreed to host Cars and Coffee on Saturday September 12th! My law firm and the Franklin Auto Spa will be sponsoring the event. In addition to C&C, we should be able to watch the cars leaving for the Radnor Hunt Rally Here is the link: Cars and Coffee | Radnor Hunt Concours There is no entry fee and breakfast will be provided free of charge. I was hoping we could move Cars and Coffee here for just this one Saturday to show our support for this wonderful event and cause. For those who may not be aware, The Radnor Hunt Concours is for the benefit of the Thorncroft Equestrian Center. They are a wonderful organization that is devoted in part to helping those with special needs. I would really appreciate it if we could have a great turnout so we can try and make this an annual thing. Get the word out...invite anyone you think would be interested in attending and please sign up here too. Thanks!
Joe, are we meeting at C&C and convoying over like we did last year (that was fun). Or are we just meeting over there? I would prefer the convoy!
Definitely caravaning over for those interested... That is, if you can keep up with my MGB I intend to unleash the fury of 70 horses!!! .
Dang it, I really need to learn how to read a calendar...thought it was this weekend instead of NEXT weekend. Fail! Guess I'm out after all. Really disappointed now that I heard what will be there.
I'll see your 70, and raise you 22...we should have an under triple digits bhp drive. Looking forward to this event!
Ummm, apparently I am incapable of reading my own calendar. Unfortunately have other plans on Saturday, but I'll be at Radnor Hunt on Sunday. Sorry to miss this!
So of course there is no rain here for days and weeks, and now, just when we don't want rain....the forecast for this weekend is not looking good. Rain moving in by Saturday afternoon, and then into Sunday morning. Oh well, we may get wet. Get your waffle weave drying towels ready!
Jay and I will be there--- in the MGB with no top, windows, or weather protection of any kind. We are then entering our girl in the Rally where she will certainly get thrashed. DONT BE A SISSY--- IF WE CAN GO IN OUR LITTLE BARCHETTA YOUR PRETTY LITTLE CARS CAN TAKE SOME RAIN... Unless they are vintage Ferraris, in which case, please don't go... it makes me sad to see them wet
I was going to drive up as a surprise (I'm a bachelor this weekend) but the (Joe's) car just got a sidewall puncture and I'm busy all day tomorrow so no time to get replaced. Have fun.
IMPORTANT!! For those who want to join me I will be caravaning up from our regular cars and coffee at 8:15 to go to Radnor Hunt. Remember, admission is free as is breakfast! See you there
