Pretty neat that they give the owner option to remove a few things here and there themself for track use!

I agree. I feel very strongly that the 23 year Viper American Sports car story is coming to an end. This version is the best of the best of the Viper series ( Generation 5) and is their "Swan song" . How they got it authorized through Chrysler/Fiat and legalized for street use is unbelievable and the attention to the details in the production of this car are stunning.

Even the base Gen 5 Viper is capable and beautiful. The TA and ACR are even more focused.

We are experiencing an impressive age for performance cars.

Glad to see them go out on top. Impressive car and performance. But to be clear, the Aventador SV broke 7 minutes on the Nurburgring. I believe the ACR was 7:17. I'm sure it beat many European cars but its a relative thing.

The 2010 Viper ACR did 7:12. The new one reportedly did an unofficial 7:01.

The 2016 Viper ACR cracked off a 7:01.67 Nurburgring lap time back in October | HorsepowerKings.com

As Jon suggested, this car is embarrassing some very expensive cars.
