OT: Independent Mercedes mechanic recommendation in Arlington?

    Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good independent Mercedes mechanic in the Arlington, Virginia area?

    I would recommend Don Allen, though he is more in Alexandria. Have had him work on my non-warranty Mercedes for everything.

    Not in Arlington, but if you're willing to drive 5-6 more miles I would go to Silver Star Motors (Mercedes Benz Service and Repairs in Vienna, VA - Silver Star Motors Inc) for all OEM work on an MB (quirky German guy, does not touch aftermarket stuff, well known for working on older MB cars).

    If they are backed up, you can also try the Northern Virginia Dinan dealer Reese Sherbaf at Fairfax Service Center (BMW, Mini Cooper, Mercedes Repair - Fairfax Service Center) who does BMW, Mini, and MB work. Many of us get our VA emissions/state inspection done by him since he also works on the occasional 348/360.

    Peter Fuchs, Silverstone Motors, Vienna. Best MB service in northern Virginia. Been taking my cars to him for over 10 years.
